Tour de Tirol

A nice day ...

... starts with a Tour de Tirol-training run. At 9.00 am a couple of runners started their run along the course of the Kaisermarathon on suturday and soon they figured out it was a nice day ... all of them reached the Hexenwasser very easily. And after the run they had lunch at the Gründlalm together. Some tips for the Tour de Tirol were discussed and the training found its end.

Tour de Tirol in Kitzbühel

We are triathlon – could have been the theme of last weekend in Kitzbühel. Also the Tour de Tirol-Team and his partner JOLSport joined the fair in Kitzbühel. At our pavillon we had a lot of visitors, within some well known people like Skistar Alberton Tomba (In picture with Tour de Tirol-boss Kitty Bos).

Congratulations to the Team in Kitzbühel, it was a perfect organised sport event!

Tour de Tirol at the Challenge Roth

Together with JOLSport Germany the Tour de Tirol-Team visited Roth last weekend. During the exciting race world-beating triathlete Chrissie Wellington smashed her own world best time with an amazing 8:19:13 that was good enough for seventh place overall. The day before Chrissie visited the Tour de Tirol and JOLSport at the fair. Congratulations to Chrissie and congratulations to the winners of the Tour de Tirol-lottery:

After only a few days break the next stop for the Tour de Tirol-team was Zermatt. At the second event of the Mountain Marathon Cup 2010, the Zermatt Marathon, the Tour de Tirol-Team made the experience of a very hot but also a wonderful race. Congratulations to the crew of the Zermatt Marathon and congratulations too to the lucky winners of the Tour de Tirol-lottery at the Zermatt Marathon:

Tour de Tirol at the Kärtnen IRONMAN Austria

Wanted: A promoter for mountain running!

Tour de Tirol-boss Martin Kaindl did it, with a promotion-beachflag he finisht the LGT Alpin Marathon Liechtenstein under 4 hours. Now it's your turn! We are looking for 4 runners, who wanna be a promoter for the mountain marathon cup at the Kaisermarathon Söll. The runners should have an expected finishing time between 4 and 5 hours. Also the other members of the MMC, Jungfrau-, LGT Alpin- and Zermatt-marathon are lookong for 4 promoters for their events. The runners become a starting place for the next year at this event for free.

The training days 2010 are over and we think they were great! Compliments to all our participants, you did great runs! Compliments also to our extended team, with Andi Auer and Frédéric Kohl we hat two great coaches for the weekend. We are looking forward to the next training days and meet you in october!

The Tour de Tirol-Trainingswochenende is in progress, today a run around the "Pölven" and a Bike-tour to the halfmarathon of the Kaisermarathon are on our schedules. Have fun to all our participants!
