On August 6, TVB managing director Lukas Krösslhuber, board member Georg Horngacher and Martin Kaindl (Tour de Tirol OC Chief) signed the agreement for the years 2026–2028 (note: 2025 is the final year of a 10-year agreement).

 “For me, it is important that after almost two decades, the OC team is still motivated, that 150 volunteers continue to support the Tour de Tirol, and that the runners have fun!” said Martin Kaindl.

In 2025, the Hohe Salve Gipfelmarsch will add a new discipline, and for next year’s 20^th anniversary, the HOHE SALVE ULTRA TRAIL will provide another highlight for the runners.

The date for next year’s running highlight has already been set: The Tour de Tirol 2026 will take place from October 9–11, 2026!

 “The event has firmly established itself in Söll and, for many businesses, has become an element that extends the season,” said TVB board member Georg Horngacher.

Over the decades, the Tour de Tirol has been able to keep participation numbers stable, which, given the large number of running events nowadays, is no longer something to be taken for granted, the trio emphasized.

“The Wilder Kaiser region is also a popular destination for outdoor sports. Running, and especially trail running, are a perfect complement to mountain sports. With the two major events, the KaiserKrone and the Tour de Tirol, we have two flagships that inspire and attract these target groups equally,” added TVB managing director Lukas Krösslhuber.
